Add a direct channel

Your website can present rooms, atmosphere and terms in detail while working alongside OTAs. Direct bookings still involve platform, payment, marketing and staffing costs. Evaluate them using your property’s actual figures.

Information before booking

Show room types, occupancy, amenities, location and booking terms clearly. Photographs should represent the real property and load appropriately on mobile.

Integrate booking carefully

If you already have a booking engine, use its supported integration. Test availability, rates, language, currency and payment. Do not sell rooms against data that is not synchronised with the source system.

Use Astro where it fits

Property content can benefit from prebuilt HTML while booking remains with the integrated service. Measure booking starts and confirmed reservations separately, with supported cross-domain measurement where applicable.

Accept the direct-booking journey

Test on mobile with room types, arrival/departure and supported party sizes. Agree the availability and rate source. Carry context into the booking engine only through supported methods.
